About me

Having worked in the legal sector (primarily in employment law) for many years as a legal secretary, PA and legal assistant, I decided a change would be a lovely idea. During this time, I gained a great deal of experience proofreading and editing legal documents and articles.

I have always had an eye for detail (sounds like a good name!) and can usually be found with my nose in a book (and a cup of tea in my hand).

All of the above prompted me to undertake the proofreading and editing course with the College of Media and Publishing, where I gained a distinction and qualified as a certified proofreader and editor. I decided to become a freelance proofreader and editor, and Eye For Detail Proofreading was born.

Eye For Detail Proofreading offers proofreading and editing services based in West Sussex, near to Chichester and the popular Wittering beach. When not error spotting, I can usually be found walking along the shore, trawling for a better fossil than last time (the eye for detail comes in handy here too!). Failing that, you may find me madly pedalling around the country lanes on my trusty mountain bike or admiring a variety of vehicles at a car event with my petrolhead family!
